Pole Inspection - Evant Area

Pole Inspectors will be in the Evant area beginning March 21st to inspect poles.
Hamilton County Electric (HCEC) owns and operates an overhead electric distribution line which crosses a portion of your property. To ensure reliable electric service, HCEC will have pole inspectors in your area over the next few weeks/months. The inspectors will be identifying decaying and/or damaged poles, conductor and other miscellaneous hardware due for replacement.
HCEC has contracted the services of Havlak Inspections of Garden City, Texas to assist with the task of pole inspections. You may observe representatives of this company on foot on your property as it is common practice to park their vehicles and walk rather than try to access the power lines by driving. ATV's may also be used on larger tracts of land.
Upon the completion of the inspection process, crews from HCEC will begin replacing the poles that failed inspection. During this time, employees from HCEC may be seeking access to your property and special arrangements may need to be made. If you are a tenant that resides on this property, I would appreciate your help identifying the land owner or advising them of our intentions.
Should you have any concerns or wish further confirmation of these individuals at the time they are on your property, please contact Joe Raibourn or Brian Geeslin, the Cooperative's Engineering Manager at 254-386-3123 or toll free at 800-595-3401.
