“Effective March 1, 2023, Hamilton County Electric Cooperative (HCEC) began purchasing all power from Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). LCRA bills on a calendar month where our previous provider billed from the 21st through the 20th of each month. In order to align our billing cycle with the new provider, HCEC will process bills on the 5th of each month starting in April. In the event the 5th falls on a weekend, the billing will be processed on the previous Friday. Please note too that the due date will change to the 21st of each month or to the following Monday if the 21st falls on a weekend.”
