Hamilton County Electric has contracted with Spartan Utility Services to perform pole contact inspections in all of HCEC service areas. Third-parties often attach to HCEC power poles to service communications and fiber-optic lines along our same routes. To keep Member costs low, HCEC occasionally hires a contractor to verify the number of these attachments and to make sure they are attaching correctly to HCEC standards. At times, this contractor will need to gain access through Member's property in order to verify number and quality of attachments on our poles. This is a rare process, but necessary and done approximately every five years.
Their vehicle should be marked with a HCEC magnet on the door.
